How long does it take you to make meringue from scratch?

Make sure the bowl is absolutely clean and free from oil. Then when you seperate the egg whites, be very careful not to get even 1 speck of yolk in it or that will ruin it. You should get stiff egg whites in like 5 minutes or less depending on your mixer. Nothing beats a good homemade lemon Meringue pie.
