What are some nice beaches between Beaufort,NC & Carolina Beach, NC?

Im looking for a nice off the mainstream vacation spot rather than the hustle & bustle of Myrtle Beach as an example. The beach is entertainment enough for my family & Id like to have an affordable vacation this year so any suggestions would be helpful. Im in southern,WV & 6 to7 hrs is all I want to drive
